We’ve seen such tremendous growth in our almost five year old daughter since she starting working with Amanda about a year and a half ago. Our amazing kiddo has autism, limited verbal communication skills, and had a stroke as a newborn. She now has more new words in her repertoire than I could have dreamed a year ago! She is putting a few short phrases together and also seems more connected to the people and world around her. Amanda clearly cares deeply about our daughter and it’s reflected in her work. She has also helped us as parents in many ways including: tips on how to practice new skills with our child, ideas for fun ways to engage and be present with our child, trouble shooting challenges we have , and has helped us learn how to use assistive technology. We are so grateful for Amanda and all she has helped teach not only our daughter, but also us!
