Amanda Nitschke, M.S. CCC-SLP, RYT 200

Amanda’s professional and spiritual paths have become increasingly interwoven throughout the last several years. As a certified speech-language pathologist, she brings nearly twenty years of experience working in Austin with differently-abled children and their parents, incorporating knowledge and practices from a variety of disciplines.
Amanda is the owner of Leaps with Language, which provides alternative education and therapy for children with language and learning differences, specializing in treating children diagnosed with brain injury and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Amanda earned a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Southwest Texas State University following a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language from the University of Texas at Austin.
Yoga and shamanism also play a significant role in her life. She is a registered yoga teacher at the 200 hour level and has also completed the Radiant Child Children’s Yoga training (95 hours) including Yoga for Autism, ADHD, & Differently-Abled Children. She is Mesa Carrier in the Q’ero tradition, a Master Reiki Practitioner, and has completed the Energy Medicine Certification Program at Austin Shamanic Center.
She is passionate about healing, empowering and educating children and their families so they may create meaningful connections to successfully navigate and engage in the world all while feeling loved, confident and successful. Amanda loves learning from her own little one, as well as the amazing children she works with on a daily basis.
